Welcome to the Friends of the Hatcham Temple Grove Free School website
Dear Friends,
All parents and carers are automatically members of the Friends of the Free School and there are many different opportunities to volunteer, great and small. Some people bake, some organise, others sew, build, dig, donate and many others support and enjoy the events.
Parents and carers of children at the school are invited to join our closed Facebook group.
Our aim is to support Hatcham Temple Grove Free School in creating a strong and positive community of families, carers, children and staff.
We do this through:
- Social events and activities that help build relationships and encourage children, their families and the staff of the school to feel part of school life
- By raising funds to help support the school for the benefit of the children of Hatcham Temple Grove Free School
We hold a meeting once a term and hope that you will get involved and help create a school community you’d like to be part of. If you have toddlers, they are welcome too!

Buy from our new Bookshop Our great NEW online shop, with books hand-picked by our teachers, parents and soon by some special guests. Organised in simple ‘shelves’ to help find age/level appropriate books quickly and easily. 10% of the sales goes directly to us (and 30% to a local bookshop).
